The coffee farms of the Cordilleras were badly hit by Typhoon Pepeng last October 7, 2009. The extent of damage continues to grow and only time and rehabilitation efforts will bring back the Red Cherry arabicas the farmers hoped to harvest starting November.
To expedite rehabilitation of these affected coffee farms the Philippine coffee board is raising a fund for this purpose.
